In Pokémon GO there are now 5 new regional Pokémon to catch. They can be found all over the world. We will show you where to find them and which ones can also be found in Germany.
These are the new monsters: Immediately 17 new Pokémon and their evolutions have come to Pokémon GO. 5 of them are regional, so they cannot be found everywhere in the world. These include:
- Jiutesto
- Karadonis
- Maracamba
- Symvolara
- Barschuft
Here you can find the regional Pokémon
Jiutesto and Karadonis: These two monsters are somewhat comparable to Kicklee and Nockchan. The only difference is that you find them in different locations.
- Jiutesto can be found in North and South America and Africa
- Karadonis can be found in Europe, Asia, and Australia
You can find Karadonis all over Germany. For Jiutesto, you will have to travel a bit. A popular travel destination for this might be the Canary Islands. They usually belong to Africa in Pokémon GO. There are also monsters like Tropius or Illumise to catch there.
Maracamba: The cactus Pokémon can be found exactly in the regions where you would expect cacti. Exact boundaries are not known yet. However, it seems to inhabit roughly the same area as Skaraborn.
This includes Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, and South America. Parts of the USA, such as southern Florida and Texas, report Maracamba spawns.
Symvolara: This Pokémon has a rather small area where it appears. It is said to only appear in the countries of Egypt and Greece. However, there are already reports from neighboring countries, such as Albania.
This matches as well, because Symvolara resembles gods of Greek and Egyptian mythology. According to the story of Pokémon, it used to guard temples.
Barschuft: This Pokémon is comparable to Schallelos. There are the blue and red Barschuft. They both are categorized according to the western and eastern hemispheres:
- Western Hemisphere: blue Barschuft
- Eastern Hemisphere: red Barschuft
Germany lies in the eastern hemisphere, which is why we can catch the red Barschuft here.
