What’s going on in Pokémon GO? A few days ago, the big Xerneas event started, which challenged you. Since you successfully completed this, you can now find Pam-Pam in the arenas.

You need to know: We will list the bosses of the various difficulty levels one after another. Names marked with a star (*) indicate that you can also encounter these Pokémon as Shiny.

The best counters
Tier 1: At the first level of the raids, you can easily defeat the Pokémon even if you don’t have the ideal counters.
Tier 3:
- Against Alola-Kokowei, Ice Pokémon like Mamutel, Arktos, and Snibunna work well
- Against Togetic, Pokémon like Crypto-Metagross, Mega-Gengar, or Crypto-Elevoltek are good
- Against Flunkifer, it’s best to use Pokémon like Mega-Glurak Y, Crypto-Lavados, or Crypto Entei
- Against Libelldra, you should fight with Mamutel, Snibunna, or Rexblisar
Tier 5: In the level 5 raids, you will face the legendary Pokémon Xerneas. It is a Fairy type and comes from Generation 6. In our counter guide for Xerneas, we show you the best attackers you can use there.
Mega Raids: The Mega Raids reward you with Pokémon for which you can activate Mega Evolution. However, the raids are not easy to complete. Usually, you need about 4 trainers to defeat the Mega Pokémon. That’s why you should rely on the right counters.
In the battle against Mega-Bisaflor, among others, Pokémon with Mega Evolutions like Mega-Glurak X and Y are suitable. However, Crypto-Mewtwo, regular Mewtwo, and Crypto-Lavados are also strong in this battle.
In the raid against Mega-Schlapor, you will do well with Mega-Pokémon like Mega-Tauboss, Mega-Schlapor, and Mega-Glurak Y. Crypto-Mewtwo, Mewtwo, Crypto-Lavados, Crypto-Machomei, or Crypto-Guardevoir are also helpful.
If you fight against Mega-Glurak Y, you have good chances with the following Pokémon as attackers: Crypto-Despotar, Rihornior, Rameidon, Terrakium, Crypto-Aerodactyl, and Crypto-Amoroso.
