In Pokémon GO you can now find new field research tasks that you receive by spinning PokéStops. We will show you what rewards they bring you now.
Why are there new research tasks? On February 26th, the big Johto Tour in Pokémon GO takes place. From February 18th to 25th, a preparation event is active, which primarily aims to provide you with Poké Balls. During the tour event, there will be many exciting Pokémon to catch.
Since February 18th at 10:00 AM, there are now new rewards in selected field research tasks. They provide you with Poké Balls and silver Pinap Berries. We will show you the new quests in the overview here.
New field research tasks from February 18th – Where to find what?
These are the new tasks: Trainers from New Zealand were already able to fully dive into the new event due to the time difference and shared the new field research tasks.
- Task: Catch 2 Voltorb
- Reward: 3 Poké Balls
- Task: Land 3 great throws
- Reward: 3 Ultra Balls
- Task: Land 3 good curveball throws in a row
- Reward: 3 Pinap Berries
- Task: Land 5 good throws
- Reward: 10 Poké Balls
- Task: Land a fantastic throw
- Reward: 3 Hyper Balls
- Task: Land 4 great curveball throws in a row
- Reward: 1 Silver Pinap Berry
To provide you with even more Poké Balls, there is also a new Time-Limited Research for you. It is again divided into four chapters and requires you to spin at stops, send gifts, and complete field research tasks. All tasks and rewards of the Time-Limited Research for the Poké Ball event can be found on MeinMMO.
What else is happening in the event? For the first time, you will find Hisuian Electrode in the game. A few weeks ago, Hisuian Voltorb was introduced, but it could not be evolved. Now, finally, the successor is available for you.
Additionally, your buddy Pokémon will now bring you gifts that contain Poké Balls. We have compiled all information about the preparation event for the Johto Tour for you.
