Which events are particularly worthwhile in October?
Secrets of the Jungle: This event starts on October 1. It celebrates the release of the new Pokémon film “Secrets of the Jungle,” which hits theaters on October 8. Among other things, the event brings the mysterious Pokémon “Zarude” to Pokémon GO. And this is definitely worthwhile for you, as early information and data from the code suggest that Zarude will be the new best Grass-type attacker in the game.
Additionally, you’ll find Research Pikachu at the event, raids with Larvitar, and Meowth balloons with Jessie and James. Here’s everything we know about the Secrets of the Jungle event in Pokémon GO.
Niantic’s Birthday: The event will run on October 6 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Many details are still unknown. However, Niantic promises a free box to celebrate the birthday. Since free items in Pokémon GO are generally worthwhile, we recommend picking up at least the box during the event. It is also quite likely that other bonuses will be unlocked in the game for the birthday.
Community Day with Zwirrlicht: The event takes place on October 9 and is recommended due to strong bonuses being active. You will receive triple Stardust for catching Pokémon. Experience shows that, in combination with incense and lure modules on Community Day, there will be many spawns. This means you can fill your dust reserves well.
Spotlight Hour with Gastly: This event on October 12 is particularly worthwhile because you will receive double the amount of Stardust for catching Pokémon. Stardust is a crucial resource for many players in the game, which makes this variety of events always appealing.
Halloween Event: The Halloween event in Pokémon GO starts on October 15. The event occurs every year and typically offers great candy bonuses. While there isn’t much known about Halloween 2021 in the game yet, it is highly anticipated that participation will be beneficial again this year. Dataminers have already discovered two new Pokémon that are likely to be released for Halloween.
Raids: Be sure not to miss out on the new raids. Genesect with the Aqua Module is interesting for collectors, while Giratina in Altered Form should be in the collection as well. Darkrai seems to be the raid highlight in October. Although it does not receive the powerful move “Hypnosis,” but the move “Sludge Bomb,” Darkrai is among the strongest attackers in Pokémon GO.
