Pokémon GO: After Community Day with Dratini comes new Pokémon and golden stops

Golden PokéStops, mysterious coins, and a new Pokémon that follows you everywhere? These are the changes you will experience in Pokémon GO after the Community Day.

What changes are these? Just before the start of the Community Day in the early time zones, data miners reported that a brand new Pokémon was found in the game’s data. It carries the Pokémon number 1080.

In the meantime, some trainers have completed the C-Day and confirm what big surprises await players afterwards.

Golden PokéStops, new Pokémon, many items from the stops – What is happening?

This is what trainers report: Right after the Community Day with Dratini on November 5, the stops in your games are supposed to turn gold. Not all, but many stops are likely affected. According to initial reports, there should be many items from them. “I receive A LOT of items from the golden PokéStops. About 15 per stop,” explains trainer aljamzz on reddit.

The new Pokémon that you see on the trainer’s screenshot on the left side above the player avatar is still quite unknown. The user okangorang, who shared the image, writes: I spun a golden PokéStop and then talked to Willow. Then I got a coin and this guy follows me now.

What is known so far:

• The golden stops appear after the Community Day with Dratini, so at 5:00 PM
• If you spin a golden stop, Professor Willow appears the first time and leads a short dialogue
• You receive a mysterious coin
• Willow says that not much is known about the coins and that you should first collect them
• After that, the new Pokémon follows you, carrying a coin on its back
• When you talk to the new Pokémon, a speech bubble with a coin appears

It is suspected that these changes are related to the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
