In Pokémon GO, the Adventure Week is starting. What to expect here, we have looked at for you.
What kind of event is this? During Adventure Week, many fossil Pokémon take center stage. The event starts on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 10:00 AM and runs until Monday, August 12, 2024, at 11:59 PM.
In addition to the appearance of some fossil Pokémon, there are also some other Pokémon and XP bonuses waiting for you at the event.

Additionally, by completing field research, you can earn Mega Energy for Aerodactyl. If you gather enough Mega Energy to trigger the Mega Evolution for Aerodactyl, you can rejoice over one of the best rock attackers in Pokémon GO.
All Pokémon marked with a * can also be encountered as shiny.
What bonuses are active during the event? Within the event, there are some bonuses that will earn you additional experience points.
- 2x experience points when you spin PokéStops
- 5x experience points for the first daily spin of a PokéStop
- 2x experience points when you hatch eggs
- Increased shiny chance for Koknodon, Shellos, Galapaflos, Flapteryx, Balgoras, and Amarino
What other content is available? Furthermore, there will also be PokéStop showcases during the event, in which you can participate with event Pokémon.
There will also be collector challenges featuring monsters from the event, where you can earn Pokémon, stardust, and Mega Energy for Aerodactyl.
Additionally, you can purchase a limited research for $2 (approximately €2). In this, you can expect the following content:
- Two incubators
- One super incubator
- Encounters with event Pokémon
