In Pokémon GO, Adventure Week starts in a few days, where two new Pokémon will make their debut. We at MeinMMO have looked at which monsters these are and will show you what else to expect during the event.
What event is it about? Following the upcoming GO Fest 2022, which takes place on June 4th and 5th, the next event starts immediately: Adventure Week. This event revolves around Rock and Fossil Pokémon.
You will encounter many of these monsters during the event time. Additionally, two new Pokémon, Amarino and Balgoras, will make their debut in the game for this occasion. Furthermore, you can expect one or two bonuses.
When does Adventure Week run? Adventure Week starts on June 7th, 2022 at 10:00 AM local time and runs until June 12th, 2022 at 8:00 PM local time.
Amarino and Balgoras – The new Pokémon for Adventure Week
Alongside well-known Pokémon, you will also meet the two new Pokémon during Adventure Week. Amarino and Balgoras will be found in field research tasks and will hatch from 7km eggs during this time. Below, we will briefly introduce you to the two monsters.
Amarino: Amarino is a Rock and Ice Pokémon from the 6th generation of games. You can recognize it by its blue, dinosaur-like body, its large blue eyes, and the yellow-pink crests above its eyes. Amarino also has the evolution Amagarga.

Balgoras: Balgoras also comes from the 6th generation of games. The Rock and Dragon type Pokémon visually resembles a small Tyrannosaurus Rex. It has a dark brown body, a white neck crest, and orange horns on its head and tail. It can also evolve into Monargoras.

Can you obtain the shiny versions? The shiny forms of Amarino and Balgoras will not be available to catch in the game for the time being.
