Pokémon GO: Adventure Week 2019 brings 3 new Shinies and plenty of XP

In Pokémon GO, the Adventure Week 2019 is starting soon! The event brings you many new Shinys and numerous bonuses. We give you an overview.

When does the event start? The Adventure Week starts on June 4, which is this Tuesday, and runs until June 11. You have exactly one week.

During the event, various Rock-type Pokémon will spawn. Additionally, there are massive bonuses for XP and new field researches.

Adventure Week 2019 – What you need to know

What are the bonuses? The Adventure Week has several bonuses for you. Look forward to:

Rock Pokémon like Kleinstein, Rihorn, Liliep, Amonitas, or Stollunior will spawn more frequently in the wild
Modified 2 km eggs with Pokémon like Schilterus, Onix, or Larvitar
Rock Pokémon like Onix appear in raids
Shiny Onix, Liliep, and Anorith will be added to the game
Your buddy earns candies four times as fast
A re-spun PokéStop gives you 10 times the amount of XP
Adventure Sync rewards significantly more for more than 50 km in a week
Special field researches will be added

What do you need to know about the Shinys? In the event, 3 new Shinys will be introduced. Outside of events and nests, these Pokémon are quite rare, so especially during the event, you should go hunting.

In addition to the new Shinys, you also get the chance to catch previously quite rare Shinys, such as Kleinstein, Amonitas, or Kabuto. Especially Kleinstein is likely to be a highlight for many players, because it hardly appears in the wild anymore.

This is how easy it is to level up during the event: The amount of XP you can earn is incredibly high. By using a Lucky Egg, you receive 20 times the amount of XP for each new PokéStop. Each PokéStop can earn you 4000 XP.
