In Pokémon GO, the rewards for Earth Day are now available. You can now receive the following bonuses in the game.
Trainers, after April 22, when Earth Day was celebrated with a worldwide cleanup, you will now be rewarded in the game for it. Niantic has come up with something special: the rewards have been extended, and at least one new Shiny has been released.
Earth Day Rewards
As Niantic announced on the evening of April 23, the rewards for the Earth Day event in Pokémon GO are now active.
Over 4000 trainers participated in the cleanup and helped to clean the Earth. As a result, the following rewards have been unlocked:
- 3x Stardust for catching Ground, Water, and Grass Pokémon
These rewards are active in Pokémon GO until April 30, 2018.
Additional Rewards – Shiny Wailmer
Some trainers have already noticed in the game that the developers have activated additional rewards. Wailmer can now apparently be caught as a Shiny. This screenshot was shared by Reddit user HashtagMerica with TheSilphRoad community:
Whether there will be more new Shinies to be found in the game will be revealed in the next few hours.
Trainers suspect that the spawns of rare Pokémon like Magikarp or Snivy have increased. This comes from initial reports on social media.
