Pokémon Go: A player has great luck, catches one of the rarest Pokémon ever on Community Day

A player caught a very special variant of Pokémon Go with Sprigatito on Community Day. He probably won’t use this Pokémon, but he caught a real collector’s item that many other players will surely envy him for.

On Community Day, there are special chances related to a specific pocket monster:

• On one hand, you can teach your Pokémon a special move.
• On the other hand, the chance that you encounter the event Pokémon as shiny is increased.

The last Community Day on March 16, 2024, featured the popular Pokémon Sprigatito. And one player was especially lucky on the last Community Day: He not only found a shiny Sprigatito, but also one with particularly rare values.

Player finds rare Pokémon with no values

What exactly happened? A player reports on reddit that he caught a shiny Sprigatito on Community Day.

The player posted his catch and was initially disappointed that his shiny Sprigatito had no values. However, others quickly let him know how lucky his catch really was.

Because the player had the great fortune to catch one of the rarest Pokémon variants he could ever have caught – a “Nundo” or shiny Nundo. Players under the post explained to him that he had incredible luck.

What is a Nundo, anyway? A Nundo is a Pokémon whose IV values are exactly 0%. This makes these Pokémon extremely rare, but on the other hand, no one wants a zero-stat Pokémon on their team, as it isn’t really strong. Moreover, the combination of shiny and Nundo is even rarer since shiny Pokémon usually have higher values.

The real dream of every Pokémon player is the opposite, a “Hundo”: Because a “Hundo” has the perfect IV values. This means that attack, defense, and HP values are all at 100 percent.
