A father reports that he was supposed to help his son catch a rare Pokémon and used the Master Ball in the process. And the community has a clear opinion on whether it was worth it.

Which Pokémon is it about? As the father reports in his post on Reddit, he was raiding alongside his son. They defeated a Crypto-Raikou. While trying to catch the Pokémon, the father took his son’s phone after he had trouble catching the monster.
The father noticed that this Raikou has a very high CP. After checking the stats online, he found out that it is a so-called Hundo Pokémon.
A Hundo is a Pokémon that has the maximum IV values of 15/15/15.
Then the father decided to use his son’s Master Ball on the Crypto-Raikou. However, since the son actually wanted to save the Master Ball for the legendary Galar birds, the father felt guilty and asked the community if they think the use was justified.
What does the community say about it? The community clearly supports the father’s decision and says that the Master Ball was completely justified in this case. Some comments on this are:
