Dataminers have found 7 new Galar Pokémon in Pokémon GO. We looked at which ones they are and revealed which monster was also discovered in the game code.
What happened? A group of dataminers called PokeMiners regularly search the game code of Pokémon GO for new information. They then share this with other players by publishing the information.
In the past, they have frequently been able to find clues about changes in Pokémon GO before an actual release. These have often been confirmed later. Now, the PokeMiners have discovered 7 new Galar Pokémon in the game. We show you which ones they are.
These are the new Pokémon
The reddit user martycochrane publishes the latest findings of the PokeMiners in his post (via reddit.com). According to this, Niantic has now included the first information about the new Galar Pokémon in the game code. These are the 7 monsters that will be catchable during the 3rd Hyper Bonus event:
- Raffel
- Schlaraffel
- Wolly
- Zwollock
- Legios
- Zacian
- Zamazenta
As with the other monsters in the game, Niantic has already included the shiny versions in the game code for Legios, Raffel, Schlaraffel, Wolly, and Zwollock. However, these are expected to not be catchable during the 3rd Hyper Bonus.

Hoopa discovered in the game code
As you can see in the reddit post, Hoopa has also finally been found in the code of Pokémon GO. This mysterious Pokémon played a central role during the GO Fest 2021 and was responsible for the numerous legendary raids on the 2nd event day. It is also expected to have a part in the 3rd Hyper Bonus.
However, it has not yet been available in Pokémon GO. The finding in the game code could indicate that it will soon be catchable in the game. But that is currently just speculation. Some trainers have been wondering since the GO Fest, when Hoopa’s release will finally happen and speculating about possible dates.
When it will happen is still unknown. As soon as there is official information about it, you will read it here on MeinMMO.
Further findings from the dataminers
In addition to the new Galar Pokémon and Hoopa, the dataminers also found new graphics for the power-ups at the PokéStops. These should, as seen in martycochrane’s post, be able to be leveled up from a normal stop to a level 3 stop.
Visually, they differ in size as well as in the number of horizontal bars at the bottom of the stops. When this feature will be introduced into the game and what it means for the trainers is not officially known yet.
