The first Pokémon of the 6th generation are available in Pokémon GO. However, there are still plenty of monsters missing. We will show you the best monsters from the Kalos region that are not yet in the game.
This is what is shown here: The monsters we show you here look promising. The stats are already known, and some monsters have already been assigned attacks. However, these things have not yet been officially implemented. Some monsters on the list could therefore become weaker.
The listed Pokémon could become strong in the PvP League or belong to the best attackers in the game.
Monargoras
These are the stats:
- Type: Dragon and Rock
- Attack: 227
- Defense: 191
- HP: 193
- Max CP: 3537
How strong could Monargoras become? Monargoras has two types that are used quite often. For both types, Monargoras is supposed to learn strong attacks, allowing it to be used on both sides.
While Monargoras will not be a top attacker with these stats, it does offer a nice alternative for either Rihornior and Rameidon or Rayquaza and Knakrack.
With the introduction of Monargoras, we will therefore get a Pokémon that benefits from two frequently used types and also has solid attacks.
Durengard
These are the stats: Durengard has 2 forms (Sword and Shield forms). We are looking at the Sword form here, as it will be useful as an attacker in this form.
- Type: Ghost and Steel
- Attack: 291
- Defense: 97
- HP: 155
- Max CP: 2987
How strong could Durengard become? The special feature of Durengard is its high attack value. It has an attack value that is nearly as high as Mewtwo’s (300). In contrast, its defense value is weak. You could deal significant damage with Durengard, but it will also be quickly defeated.
In the end, it must show whether Durengard is useful as a glass cannon or will be defeated too quickly. It is definitely an interesting Pokémon to keep an eye on.
Zygarde
These are the stats: Zygarde has 3 forms (10%-Form, 50%-Form, and Optimal-Form). We are looking at the Optimal-Form here.
- Type: Dragon and Ground
- Attack: 185
- Defense: 211
- HP: 389
- Max CP: 4267
How strong could Zygarde become? Zygarde could be an interesting monster for the PvP League. The HP value of 389 is really high, and the combination of the types Dragon and Ground sounds promising.
Attacks for Zygarde are not yet known. It will then be determined whether Zygarde really becomes useful. With the right attacks, it could become one of the best monsters in the Master League.
However, Zygarde should not play a role in raids. Its attack value is too low, and the competition is too great.
Yveltal
These are the stats:
- Type: Dark and Flying
- Attack: 250
- Defense: 185
- HP: 246
- Max CP: 4275
How strong could Yveltal become? Yveltal could become strong both as a Flying and Dark attacker. As a Dark attacker, Yveltal has Darkrai ahead of it, but it could rank second.
As a Flying attacker, there are also some competitors, but here too it could belong to the top attackers. Yveltal has strong attacks from both types.
With Yveltal, it is unlikely that a monster will come that surpasses all Pokémon, but it will certainly become a strong attacker.
Xerneas
These are the stats:
- Type: Fairy
- Attack: 250
- Defense: 185
- HP: 246
- Max CP: 4275
How strong could Xerneas become? With Xerneas, a strong Fairy attacker could come into the game. The problem so far: It is not supposed to learn a Fairy fast attack. If this changes before the release, then Xerneas could become strong.
Currently, there are hardly any real attackers among the Fairy attackers. Togekiss or Gardevoir are strong, but not really top attackers either. Xerneas may not surpass all other monsters, but it could become significantly stronger.
Hoopa
These are the stats: Hoopa has 2 forms (Normal form and Unbound). We are looking at the Unbound form here, as it is stronger.
- Type: Dark and Psychic
- Attack: 310
- Defense: 191
- HP: 173
- Max CP: 4516
How strong could Hoopa become? This form of Hoopa could be the most interesting Pokémon of the 6th generation. The Unbound form has a better attack value than Mewtwo and also has the secondary type Dark.
Currently, the attacks are not yet known, but if Hoopa is supposed to learn Psyshock, just like Mewtwo, then it could at least deal more damage. However, it might not be as sturdy in battle.
Additionally, there are the potential Dark attacks that Hoopa could learn. If these attacks are good, it could even overshadow Darkrai.
However, strong defenders are rather absent in the 6th generation. We have listed the best gym defenders for you here:
