In Pokémon GO, a large part of Generation 5 is already available in the game. However, some monsters from the Unova region are still missing, and you can look forward to their release.
Here is the status of Gen 5: There have been several waves of new Unova Pokémon, but a few monsters from Generation 5 are still missing. They are expected to be gradually introduced into the game over the next few months.
To give you an idea of what to look forward to, we present to you here 6 Pokémon that will be particularly strong and are not yet available in the game.
These 6 Pokémon are still waiting for you in Gen 5
Kyurem: This legendary Pokémon appears in 3 forms:
- Black Kyurem
- White Kyurem
- Normal Kyurem
Particularly interesting will be the black and white Kyurem. Both Pokémon have an incredible attack value of 310, surpassing even Mewtwo.
Additionally, both learn really strong dragon attacks and overshadow Rayquaza as the best dragon Pokémon to date. With the introduction of Kyurem, Pokémon GO will receive a new top all-rounder, allowing you to defeat some raid bosses much more easily.
The legendary Pokémon is likely to come into the game through a raid. One should therefore hope for a soon release in raids.
Reshiram: This legendary Pokémon is of type Dragon and Fire and will be particularly strong in the Fire type. It can reach over 4000 CP and has an attack value of 275. Additionally, it comes with very strong fire attacks.
With this mix, Reshiram will be by far the best Fire Pokémon in the game and will shake up the meta significantly. It is a legendary Pokémon that you definitely should not miss.
Reshiram is likely to be introduced around the same time as Kyurem. They both belong to the Tao trio, and such trios have been historically introduced through raids with a one-month interval.
Zekrom: With Zekrom comes the new best Electric Pokémon in the game. This legendary monster specializes in very strong Electric attacks and boasts an attack value of 275 – higher than any other Electric Pokémon.
Until now, there has been no Pokémon among the Electric attackers that truly dominated, but that will change with Zekrom. Finally, there will be a really strong Pokémon of this type.
Zekrom is the third Pokémon of the Tao trio and is expected to be released around the same time as Reshiram and Kyurem. A release through raids is also the most likely scenario.
Demeteros (Therian Form): Demeteros is already available in Pokémon GO, but only in its Incarnate form. While it is already quite useful in this form, it will be even better in the Therian form.
In this form, it has an incredible attack value of 289 and also the best Ground attacks in the game. This combination makes it the best Ground attacker and a must-have for every player.
Nothing is known yet about the release of the Therian forms. There is currently no Therian form in the game, but all 3 Incarnate forms of the “Forces of Nature” trio are available. Therefore, it is quite possible that the Therian forms will follow soon. A release in raids is also conceivable.
Meloetta: The mysterious Pokémon is available in 2 forms:
- Aria Forme (Normal and Psychic type)
- Pirouette Forme (Normal and Fighting type)
Both forms are useful, even if they do not exceed the best Pokémon of their types.
The Aria Forme of Meloetta is slightly weaker than competitors like Mewtwo or Espeon, but it still ranks as a strong alternative. A solid attack value of 250 and powerful moves are the reasons for this.
The Pirouette Forme ranks behind the best Fighting attackers like Lucario, Conkeldurr, or Machamp. It has an attack value of 269, making it better than, for instance, Machamp, but it has relatively weaker moves. Nevertheless, it is a strong alternative.
As Meloetta is a mysterious Pokémon, its release could happen in several ways. It could come through special research or in raids. It is also conceivable for it to be introduced as an EX raid boss.
Ramoth: As the only non-legendary Pokémon in this list, Ramoth makes its appearance. It is of the Fire and Bug type and is a real asset for both types.
Especially as a Bug attacker, it dominates its type and finally represents a truly strong attacker. Until now, the Bug type has always been slightly weaker and often included rather backup Pokémon. With Ramoth, that will change.
But it can also stand out as a Fire attacker. It is at least better than all current Fire Pokémon and is only outclassed by Reshiram.
The reason for this strength is its attack value of 264, but also the other stats that provide it with some sturdiness. In addition, it has very strong moves of both types.
Ramoth could come into the game with the final wave of Gen 5 Pokémon. As it is not legendary, its pre-evolution can certainly also be found in eggs and in the wild.
How many Pokémon are still missing? There are still quite a few monsters that are not yet available in Pokémon GO, even though their generations are already in the game.
