June 2020 has brought Pokémon GO new field research tasks. We show you the 6 quests that are currently the most rewarding.
These quests are about: In June, the quests around Ground Pokémon are in focus. In addition, there are other tasks that have been in the game for months. We show you a selection of quests that offer you the best rewards.
That way you’ll know which quest you should collect and keep, and which task you can quickly send away.
The best field research tasks in June 2020
Land 5 great curveball throws: This quest features Pandir with the number 5. Pandir is one of the rarest Shinies in the game and is therefore worth it.
However, the number 5 has never been available as a Shiny before. So if you already have Shiny Pandir, you should secure the new form of this rare Pokémon as Shiny this time.
Land 3 great throws: Here you mostly have the chance of Nebulak. Sometimes you’ll also find Anorith or Liliep in this quest. All 3 Pokémon are worth it anyway.
Nebulak will receive a Community Day in July and you can secure good specimens for its evolution through the quests. Anorith and Liliep are quite rare in the wild and a Shiny of them is sought after. Additionally, the quest is easy to complete.
Land 5 good throws: This quest currently offers a very rare Shiny. You will find Voltobal as a reward, which has been available as Shiny since the Safari Zone in May.
If you didn’t participate in this event, you are likely still waiting for a Shiny. So this quest offers you an easy way to obtain it.
Catch 5 different Ground-type Pokémon: This task sounds quite tricky, but rewards you with 2 candy. Currently, the quest seems to be bugged, as you can catch any Pokémon to complete the quest.
The task is therefore more like “Catch 5 Pokémon” and for that, you’ll receive the 2 candy. Easy work for a rare item.
Catch 3 Ground-type Pokémon: This field research rewards you with Hippopotas. The 3 Ground-type Pokémon are not extremely fast to find, but the reward is worth it.
Hippopotas barely appears in the wild and the Shiny is therefore quite rare. It’s worth it to search for Ground-type Pokémon.
Send 3 gifts to friends: In this task, you will receive Schmerbe as a reward. Many trainers likely still lack its Shiny, and the quest is quick to complete.

How long will these field research tasks last? The tasks change every month. So you can take advantage of all these quests until the end of June. In June, 2 events also start, which may briefly introduce new field research tasks into the game. We will provide you with an overview.
