In Pokémon GO this week, Anego, Kapu-Riki, Ur-Dialga, and Ur-Palkia are on the move. Each of them will also have a raid hour. Who is worth it?
What is currently happening in Pokémon GO: This week, the “Adventure Awaits” event is taking place, which serves as a preview for the big GO Nature Zone this weekend.
There are various bonuses this week, one of which is the appearance of the four 5-star monsters Anego, Kapu-Riki, Ur-Dialga, and Ur-Palkia.
All four can currently be challenged in raids. Additionally, each of them gets its own raid hour.
When are the raid hours? The dates and times are as follows:
- November 19, at 6:00 PM: Anego
- November 20, at 6:00 PM: Kapu-Riki
- November 21, at 6:00 PM: Ur-Dialga
- November 22, at 6:00 PM: Ur-Palkia
All four can also appear as shiny if you’re lucky. Below, we’ll briefly look at what the four can do.
How strong is Anego?
What Anego can do: Anego is the strongest poison attacker in Pokémon GO when excluding mega evolutions. Even then, it is currently only surpassed by Mega-Gengar. So if you’re looking for a top poison attacker, Anego is a good choice. It inflicts a lot of damage but can’t take much in return.
The problem is that poison attackers are rarely needed in raids. Also, Anego is not a particularly useful monster in the PvP battle league. Nevertheless: It is relatively easy to defeat in raids and can complement your collection.

How strong is Kapu-Riki?
What Kapu-Riki can do: Of the four bosses this week, Kapu-Riki is the least interesting, as it performs poorly both in PvP and as a raid or gym attacker. The Electric and Fairy type monster is simply not a strong fighter.
Here you should mainly try to get the shiny if you don’t have it yet. But overall, this is a raid that you can skip compared to the others.
Here are the best counters against Kapu-Riki.
How strong is Dialga in its Ur form?
What Ur-Dialga can do: Dialga in its Ur form is a very strong attacker. This monster is among the best Steel-type attackers and also among the best Dragon-type attackers. Additionally, it can deliver very good matches in the Master League. Thus, it is a very good Pokémon.
It also has the special feature of being able to use the move “Times Noise.” This also represents an adventure effect, which you can activate outside of battles. For 5,000 Stardust and 5 Dialga candies, you can pause the item countdown of items like incense, lucky egg, and similar for 6 minutes. If you stack the effect, you can use your items noticeably longer. Especially during the daily adventure incense, some trainers use this to have a better chance at Galar birds.
Important: There is only a chance that your newly caught Ur-Dialga knows Times Noise. It is not guaranteed with every capture.

How strong is Palkia in its Ur form?
What Ur-Palkia can do: The same applies to Ur-Dialga: Ur-Palkia is one of the top Pokémon in the game and can excel as both a raid attacker and in the battle league.
Its Spatial Rend is also an adventure effect. With it, you enlarge the catch radius around you, so you can see significantly more Pokémon on the map. So, Ur-Palkia is also a very useful Pokémon that you should not miss.
Important: Even with Ur-Palkia, there is only a chance that your newly caught specimen knows Spatial Rend. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee here either, so you’ll have to rely on your luck. If you want to face Ur-Palkia in a raid: Here are the best counters against Ur-Palkia.
