According to a new discovery in Pokémon GO, you can soon look forward to strong bonuses in Team Play. We will tell you what these bonuses are.
What is Team Play? Team Play is a feature in Pokémon GO where you can play together with your friends. You can form groups of 2 to 4 players and embark on adventures together. While using this feature, you can see each other on the map.
In Team Play, you can complete various challenges together and receive rewards for them. Additionally, you will receive a damage boost on your charged attacks when you are on raids. Here you can find all information about Team Play.
According to a finding by the Pokéminers, shared by a user on Reddit, you can soon look forward to strong boosts when using Team Play.
More Candies and Experience Points, Advantages when Trading
What kind of changes are involved? According to the finding, the number of candies and experience points you receive when catching Pokémon will be significantly increased. We are talking about an increase of up to four times the amount. Also, you are supposed to earn candies twice as fast when you are out with your buddy Pokémon.
Furthermore, when spinning PokéStops with your friends, you will not only receive more experience points but also additional goodies that are not described in detail.
What are the advantages when trading? There are also supposed to be significant changes when trading with your friends who are in Team Play. On one hand, the stardust cost when trading can be reduced – by double or even quadruple the amount. A special trade with a Pokémon you do not yet own could therefore cost only 20,000 or even just 10,000 stardust in the future, instead of 40,000 stardust.
On the other hand, the number of candies you receive when trading Pokémon is also supposed to be increased. We are talking about double or even triple the amount when you are in Team Play.
When and in what form these changes will be implemented in the game remains to be seen. There is currently no official information from Niantic regarding this. So far, these are just discoveries found in the game’s data.
