Pokémon GO: 3rd Master Ball coming, is easier to get this time

In Pokémon GO, you will soon have the opportunity to obtain another Master Ball at an event. We will explain when and how exactly this will take place.

What kind of event is this? The event named Capture Wonders will start on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 10:00 AM and will run until Sunday, May 19, 2024, at 8:00 PM. There will be several bonuses and field researches.

Additionally, the event will include a free research where you can earn another Master Ball as a reward. Compared to the last Master Ball research, there is now a significant advantage.

Research without a time limit

What is special about the research? The research is designed for a long period and will bring you several rewards. This time it is not a time-limited research, as was the case last time.

This time, you won’t have any time pressure to complete the research and can take as much time as you need to finish it. You won’t risk missing out on the Master Ball.

If you still have Master Balls from previous events or want to prepare for the new ones, feel free to check which Pokémon particularly benefit from the Master Ball.

What rewards are included in the research? In addition to the Master Ball, the research will also offer Stardust, experience points, berries, Pokémon encounters, and other rewards. As soon as we have more detailed information on this, we will report to you.

What bonuses are available at the event? During the event, there will also be 3 bonuses that you can benefit from. These are as follows:

• 10x XP for the first catch of the day
• 10x XP for the first spin of a PokéStop or Gym
• 5x Stardust for the first Pokémon catch of the day

Furthermore, you will be able to complete field research during the event, rewarding you with Stardust, experience points, as well as Poké Balls, Ultra Balls, and Hyper Balls. You can find more detailed information about the field research with us as soon as it becomes available.
