Until April 8, the big Spring Event is running in Pokémon GO. So you still have over 2 days to take advantage of the bonuses. We show you what you shouldn’t miss.
This is the Spring Event: This event celebrates Easter in Pokémon GO. Many Pokémon that fit the Easter theme appear in the wild, in raids, and in quests.
There are many bonuses and a surprise or two at the start of the event. To help you focus on what you need to do, we provide an overview here.
Spring Event in Pokémon GO – What is worth it?
Take advantage of the strong spawns: Currently, Chansey is appearing more frequently in the wild. The spawns are so increased that you can easily catch several specimens in a normal round. Normally, Chansey is quite rare, making the Shiny form sought after. However, during the current Spring Event, you can hunt down “The Egg Lady” well.
In addition, there are more exciting spawns. Skrelp appears as a new Shiny in the wild, so if you’re lucky, you have good chances for the new Shinies.
Chansey, on the other hand, has a better Shiny chance, as it is generally rarer. Here, the probability is 1 in 64. You have significantly better chances for the coveted Shiny.
Secure your chance for Geronimatz: The eagle Pokémon is quite rare in Pokémon GO and has only been available as a Shiny in raids during a short event. After that, you had to hope for a Geronimatz from eggs. Now the chance for Geronimatz is back, as it appears in raids, eggs, and in quests. So you have time throughout the event to hunt one of the rarest Shinies in the game.
Geronimatz can be found in the quest “Win 2 Raids,” in level 1 raids, and in the 2 km eggs from the event. Make sure to take all chances for the rare Pokémon.
Hatch eggs: The centerpiece of the event is the egg bonuses. You only need to walk one kilometer for a 2 km egg. Additionally, there are special monsters in the event eggs. A trainer showed on Reddit (via Reddit) that the chances for exciting Pokémon are not that bad. Out of 113 eggs, 11% contained a Geronimatz. Wonneira, however, appeared only 2 times in all of his eggs.
Still, the 2 km eggs could offer a good chance for Shinies. However, remember that such eggs hatch quickly and incubators outside the infinite incubator can cost a lot of coins.
