As usual, February in Pokémon GO brings some events. These will include useful bonuses or new Pokémon for your Pokédex.
This weekend, on Saturday, February 10th and Sunday, February 11th, three of these events will be taking place. Therefore, it is worth checking in on the game over the weekend.
We will show you what you can do in Pokémon GO over the weekend.
1. Earn Stardust on GO Battle Day
What kind of event is this? The Battle Day starts on Saturday, February 10th at 00:00 and ends at 23:59 – it runs all day long.
The event fully focuses on the GO Battle League. In battles against other trainers, you can earn four times the Stardust per victory. Just keep in mind that the quadruple bonus does not apply to the reward at the end of a battle set.
Additionally, the battle set limit is increased from 5 to 20. Thus, you can play 100 matches. Plenty of opportunities to gather Stardust and rank up. Furthermore, a limited research task focused on battling will be unlocked, giving you items and XP.
You can compete in the Master League and the Super League’s Evolution Cup. So: If you need Stardust, prepare your battle teams.

2. Catch Hisui-Decidueye
What kind of event is this? While Saturday is the day for fighters, Sunday is the day for collectors: The Hisui variant of Decidueye makes its debut in Pokémon GO.
You will encounter it during the Raid Day, which runs from 14:00 to 17:00 on February 11th. When the monster will return afterwards is still unclear. So, if you want the Pokédex entry, you should attempt the level-3 raids. Hisui-Decidueye should be beatable solo or with a partner.
The good news: On Raid Day, you will receive up to five extra free Raid Passes from gyms and PokéStops, whenever you complete the last one. You can find our guide to the Raid Day with Hisui-Decidueye here.
3. Take advantage of the last two days of “Lunar New Year: Unleashed Dragons”
What kind of event is this? The Lunar New Year event started on February 5th, but not with all bonuses. At first, a global challenge was to be solved that required a billion good throws. Since Thursday, February 8th, the remaining bonuses are activated, which can still be utilized until February 11th, Sunday.
These include wild dragon spawns as well as special attacks for some of the monsters in the event. You can read about which attacks you shouldn’t miss here.
If you have not participated much in the Lunar New Year event so far due to a lack of time, bad weather, or simply not being convinced of the bonuses before the challenge, you still have time to make use of the event.
