How long are the codes valid? Redeem these codes quickly in Pokémon GO and collect the items. It is unclear how long the codes will remain active, so be quick and don’t delay. The unlocked research must be redeemed by February 26.
What do the codes bring? After redemption, each code unlocks a time-limited research for you. In the research, you need to complete 3 field research tasks and land a great throw. If you succeed, you will receive a Golden Razz Berry and an encounter with Regirock, Registeel, or Regice for each research. You will also receive some stardust and XP.
With a bit of luck, you might encounter the Regis as shiny!
How to redeem promo codes in Pokémon GO on Android and iOS
While Android users can easily redeem codes in the game, iOS users have to take a detour through an external website.
Android: Android users open Pokémon GO and navigate to the shop. Scroll down to the bottom and you will find the field for “Promos”. Tap it, copy the code there and confirm the selection. Make sure you haven’t copied any spaces. The items will then land directly in your inventory.
iOS: On iOS devices, entering in the shop is not possible, the corresponding field does not exist at all. Instead, you need to visit Niantic’s rewards website. You can find the link here: Redeem promo code (via rewards.nianticlabs.com).
Log in here with your linked account. Then you can enter the code and confirm it. The items will be credited to you in the game. For your safety, you can check this in your game journal.
