On Pokémon GO, on Day 2 of the GO Fest 2021, there are two new research tasks for you (Strange Rings). They offer you 8 Remote Raid Passes, strong items, and plenty of XP. We will show you the tasks and rewards.
What is happening in Pokémon GO? Today, on July 18, we are on the second day of the GO Fest 2021. Today’s focus is on raids with legendary Pokémon. The developers are bringing all Legendary Pokémon that have previously been available in the game into raids.
To ensure you can participate in many of these raids, earn items for them, and gain a lot of XP, there are two new research tasks for you.
- A special research task with 2 chapters
- A time-limited research task with 8 chapters that will repeat
This is how you earn 8 Remote Raid Passes today + 3 additional ones
This is the research: In the “Today” overview in Pokémon GO, you will find the time-limited research starting from 10:00 AM. However, this is only available for ticket holders. Click on the research symbol at the bottom right of the map and select the leftmost tab called “Today” to see the research and claim your rewards.
What is special about this time-limited research is that it consists of only one task that repeats eight times.

| Battle in a raid | 100 Stardust |
Stage reward: Once you complete the raid task, you will also receive 3 Ultra Potions, 3 Max Revives, and a Remote Raid Pass. You can repeat the task eight times, collecting the potions, revives, and a Remote Raid Pass each time.
Tip: In the Pokémon GO shop, you can find a free event box with 3 additional Remote Raid Passes available during the event time from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This is available only to players who have purchased a ticket, just like the research.
The new research “Strange Rings” brings to the GO Fest
A new special research with only two chapters will be available to all trainers starting Sunday at 10:00 AM. This includes those who did not purchase a ticket.

Stage reward: For completing all tasks, you will receive 10,000 XP, three silver Razz Berries, and 3,000 Stardust as a reward.
Additionally, the special research with Meloetta and these rewards is currently active for you.
