In Pokémon GO, 2 new Ultra Beasts have been announced. We explain to you what they are and how you can get them.
What are Ultra Beasts? Ultra Beasts are mysterious Pokémon that come from another dimension and are comparable to legendary and mythical Pokémon. They were introduced in Generation 7. Through so-called Ultra Wormholes, they can travel through different dimensions.
There are already some Ultra Beasts that have made their way into the world of Pokémon GO. Now, 2 new Ultra Beasts have been confirmed for May. These are Kopplosio and Muramura, which will be available in Pokémon GO for the first time after being teased a while ago.
2 Hemispheres, 2 Ultra Beasts
What kind of Ultra Beasts are they? Both Pokémon have been around since Generation 7. While Kopplosio has the types Fire and Ghost, Muramura is a Pokémon with the types Rock and Steel. Neither Pokémon has an evolution.
Where can I obtain the Ultra Beasts? Each of the two Ultra Beasts will be available in a different hemisphere. While Kopplosio will be found in the western hemisphere, you will encounter Muramura in the eastern hemisphere.
Germany is located in the eastern hemisphere, so Muramura will be available here.
How can I obtain the Ultra Beasts? The Ultra Beasts will be available in their respective hemispheres from May 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM to June 1, 2024, at 10:00 AM. During this period, you can challenge and catch the respective Ultra Beast in 5*-raids.
Additionally, there will be a raid hour on May 29, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, during which the Ultra Beasts will be present in their hemispheres. If you haven’t managed to get one by then, this event could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Are the Ultra Beasts available as Shiny? No, the Ultra Beasts will not be available in their Shiny variants for now.
