Today, the Community Day Classic is happening in Pokémon GO featuring Charmander. There’s a ticket available for about €1. What’s included?
What kind of ticket is this? The Community Day Classic featuring Charmander takes place on Saturday, September 2, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. It is one of the first events in September for Pokémon GO.
For this event, you can optionally find a ticket in the Pokémon GO shop for €0.99, which brings you additional rewards related to Charmander.
Note: Generally, you can play the Community Day without a ticket. It’s just additional bonuses that you get with the ticket.

Is the purchase worth it?
Overall, you can get some additional Charmander encounters and candies through the ticket to progress faster towards Charizard. The additional Mega Energy, which is enough to Mega Evolve a Charizard, is also useful.
Additionally, there are items like Incense and a Rocket Radar in the ticket that would cost more than one euro if added up in the shop when calculated against the coin value. The ticket is especially useful if you have little time to play on Community Day and plan to buy the corresponding items anyway.
At the same time, one should consider that you could also buy the items, if necessary, by using coins earned in-game without spending real money. Furthermore, you get plenty of Charmander encounters if you have enough time to play thoroughly on Community Day.
