Today is the Community Day Classic featuring Surskit in Pokémon GO. There is also an optional ticket available in the shop for around €1. What’s included in the research? We summarize it.
What kind of ticket is this? The Community Day Classic with Surskit takes place on Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 2 PM to 5 PM. Surskit’s evolution, Masquerain, is one of the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
In addition to the free event, you can purchase a special research in the shop that revolves around the Pokémon and offers various rewards.
There is a ticket for this research. It costs €0.99.
Important: The ticket is optional and provides additional bonuses such as extra candies, items, and similar rewards. However, you can also participate in the Community Day without a ticket.

Is the purchase worth it?
What you need to know: It’s important to note that you do not need the ticket for the Community Day itself. If, for example, you are only looking to encounter many Surskit, you can easily do that by fully participating in the C-Day and catching many specimens. However, through the research, you’ll get additional candies and some encounters with Surskit and its evolutions.
When you compare the price of the ticket against the included items like Incense, Rocket Radar, and Lucky Egg, you can see that you get them cheaper in the research than if you were to purchase them individually in the shop. Additionally, there are XP, Stardust, balls, and other bonuses like berries.
However, you can only purchase the ticket with real money for €0.99, not with in-game earned coins. The individual items, on the other hand, can also be purchased with coins.
