A podcaster is reportedly advertising a potency drug on Amazon. The nasty thing about it: behind the video is an AI and not the podcaster himself. Many viewers express shock.

On TikTok, the well-known and controversial podcaster Joe Rogan discussed libido supplements for men, particularly a brand called ‘Alpha Grind’.
Rogan talks about the benefits of the product and explains that it is listed as one of the best-selling products on Amazon. He even says in the video:
If you search for libido boosters for men on Amazon, you’ll find it at the top. Because men have figured out that it literally increases size and makes a difference down there.

What are the reactions like? Surprised and partially very shocked. Many are dismayed that the counterfeit streamer, a so-called deepfake, is hardly distinguishable from the real streamer. And this could become a major problem and challenge in the future:
AI copies the podcaster and this is not an isolated case
What is so insidious about it? The big problem is: Joe Rogan never voiced the advertisement for the potency drug and presumably did not agree to advertise for the mentioned product. According to various statements, an artificial intelligence faked his appearance and voice.
And this is not an isolated case. There are now numerous attempts to imitate famous individuals. It goes so far that an AI even created a comedy series on Twitch, although it has since been banned for questionable statements.
The well-known streamer Asmongold also had the “pleasure” of being copied by an AI. And he is quite impressed by what artificial intelligence is capable of these days. After all, this was an amusing story and not an advertising fake:
