Rank 1: No Man’s Sky
If the sky isn’t enough for you, here you have the entire galaxy!
In the gigantic space simulation No Man’s Sky, you explore an almost limitless galaxy with your spaceship. It is about discovering new planets and exploring their unparalleled flora and fauna. If no one has been to the planet before you, you can name it and its inhabitants. However, dangers may also lurk that you must defeat.
There can also be battles in space ‒ but since the galaxy is so indescribably vast, you will rarely encounter other players, despite the significant multiplayer character. According to the developers, it would take over 600 billion hours to fully explore the galaxy. Well, the next holidays surely won’t be enough.
It is not yet confirmed whether the game will support Playstation VR at launch. Upon inquiry, however, Sony said it is definitely an interesting speculation. It is no secret that the developers of No Man’s Sky, Hello Games, have been experimenting with VR technology. For a space and exploration game, the new technology is definitely appealing.
Playstation VR and No Man’s Sky are two very ambitious projects and results of overwhelming technology. Together, they can provide us with an unprecedented experience.

What significance does Playstation VR have for MMOs?
According to SCE Japan & Asia President Atsushi Morita, the ultimate goal of VR technology is to give players the feeling that they are in the middle of the game and part of its fantastic world. This can open a door to a breathtaking gaming experience for MMOs that has previously been firmly closed. It is apparent that even the “big” game developers and publishers see a future in this technology and are jumping on this train.

Whether VR will establish itself will largely depend on the games that are developed for it. Because it won’t be cheap at first.
