Sony is holding a PlayStation meeting this evening, September 7th, in New York City. You can also follow it live here in Germany.

What will be shown tonight?
So far, Sony has not explained what will be shown. However, the media expects that the PS4 Slim will be officially unveiled. In the last days and weeks, more and more leaks have come to light. For example, images and a complete unboxing video for the Slim console have been released online. The new Dualshock controller has also been seen in detail.
It is speculated that the PlayStation 4 Slim will be presented today and will go on sale immediately afterward.
On the other hand, many fans expect exciting details regarding the still mysterious PS4 Neo. This “high-end PS4” is supposed to have more power than the current version and support 4K resolution. It will not replace the original PS4 but rather complement it. All games are still to be created for the existing PS4.

It is probably not too far-fetched to assume that Sony will also talk about PlayStation VR. This VR headset will be available for purchase on October 13th. Our author Jürgen was able to try it on at Gamescom. Here he reports on his first experiences in virtual reality.
