Sony presented a series of new games for the PS5 and the console itself in their stream. What is your opinion on the event?
What did Sony show? After the initial postponement, the reveal stream for the PlayStation 5 took place tonight, June 11. For an hour, Sony showcased various trailers for their game lineup.
Among the games were both well-known and popular franchises as well as completely new IPs. Here are some of them:
- Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales
- GTA V
- Godfall
- Horizon Forbidden West
- Pragmata
- Gran Turismo 7
- Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
- Returnal
- Sackboy: A Big Adventure
- Project Athia
- NKA 2K21
- Resident Evil 8 Village
- Kena: Bridge of the Spirits
- And more
At the end of the stream, Sony also showed the design of their next-gen console after a long time and introduced the digital-only edition, which will not have a disc drive.
Sony breaks with the long-standing tradition of black consoles that has been in place since the release of the PS2 and makes the PS5 multi-colored. As with the PS5 controller, white is the dominant color with black and blue accents.
