This is the situation: More and more countries are imposing curfews. In Germany, the federal government recommends that people should not go outside to meet others.
This also affects Pokémon GO, as these are fundamental elements of the game. Therefore, Niantic adjusted their game so much that you can at least play somewhat effectively from home.
