In Bethesda’s online game Fallout 76 players discovered a vault that has no number. Now the community is wondering what this is all about.
What was discovered? Reddit user Bearing51 found the entrance to a bunker during an exploration tour in the northwest of the map. Surprisingly, this one has no number, unlike other vaults in Fallout. The door cannot be opened at the moment.
However, players were able to catch a glimpse inside through a glitch, which apparently is not finished yet. The view inside gave no clues about what the bunker is about. Previously, players were able to enter unopened vaults.
A new mysterious bunker
Where is the vault located? You can find the bunker in the northwestern corner of the map, north of the Aaronholt homestead. From there, just head north into the mountains. The vault is not marked on the map.
What is so special about this bunker? Aside from the fact that it has no number, it is marked in purple. However, this seems to be just a placeholder graphic. This means Bethesda will later assign the number of the vault to this location.
Additionally, where the vault is located, there is a Powercycle 1000 home trainer. What this means is unclear.
What secrets does the vault hold?
This is what players think about it: On Reddit, there is already a discussion about this numbered-less vault. According to players, the bunker was apparently introduced with the last patch. Because previously, it was not located in this place in the game.
Fans speculate that this vault will soon be opened and will then provide access to the underground areas seen in the Wild Appalachia trailer.
SeaSaltSaltiness on Reddit speculates: “Maybe Bethesda is preparing the vault raids early.”
Because raids in vaults 96 and 94 are planned for the summer. But it could also be a storyline content.
