The map of GTA 6 is still a secret from Rockstar Games, but fans have already created their own designs. One is currently being particularly celebrated. This is what the successor of GTA 5 is supposed to look like.
What’s it about? Eagerly, GTA fans are waiting for Rockstar Games to finally announce GTA 6 officially, as that hasn’t happened yet. During the waiting time, wishes and concepts from fans for the new game are already emerging.
A concept of a map was recently shared again on Reddit and is gaining much attention there. Over 100 people are commenting on the graphic in the relatively small subreddit with just under 11,000 members.

What does the map look like? In the concept, fans can recognize many familiar places that they visited in earlier parts of GTA.
- In the northwest “San Fierro”, known from San Andreas
- In the northeast “Liberty City”, known from GTA IV and addons
- In the center of the map “Las Venturas”, also known from San Andreas
- In the southeast “Vice City”, known from the namesake part of the series
- In the southwest Los Santos, primarily known from GTA V
In the screenshot, you see the map design. Keep in mind that this is not an official map, but one developed by fans. Specifically by Deviantart user saifbeatsart, who published the graphic back in 2016.
Although the graphic is already a few years old, fans are now bringing it back up on Reddit and discussing it. Right now is a hot phase in the GTA community; this month, a major event is expected such as an announcement of GTA 6 on March 25.
What do players say about the map? The user manman203 shared the map on Reddit and wrote: “If this were the official map, it would be excellent.” He also wishes for the choice between lobbies with few or many players and no annoying flying motorcycles.
Others write:

- “I love it”
- “I want this map to be real. But that probably won’t happen. Just imagine, Liberty City, Los Santos, and Vice City – the 3 best cities. That would be so great”
- “Great job, buddy”
- “If I could just get a quarter of that, I’d be really happy”
The rumors and leaks about GTA 6 also revolved around Vice City
However, there is also criticism. Users write that combining all these cities on one map would result in a massive game size, “at least 500 GB or more.”
Also, the general concept isn’t received well everywhere. “I don’t think anyone wants the half of the map to be a copy of the maps from old games.”
