A new puzzle has been solved in The Division 2. Agents were able to summon a new Hunter who drops the 7th Ivory Key. Here’s how to find the Ivory Key.
This puzzle is about: In The Division 2, there are several locations where strange symbols are written on the walls. Most of these are hidden in graffiti, like in this one:
There are a total of 8 of these texts, 6 have already been solved and just a few hours ago the 7th puzzle was mastered.
What do the texts reveal? These secret graffiti texts are related to the Hunters and the Ivory Keys. Through the Hunters, you can get cool Hunter masks and Ivory Keys needed for a strange chest in the White House.

- The Ivory Key chest is located in the White House. If you run through the main entrance, pass the quartermaster, and then turn right, you’ll enter the room where you can change your appearance as soon as you unlock the barber. The chest is in this room.
How to solve the puzzle
If you decrypt the text on the graffiti image above, you get this sentence:
“AGRARIAN TRUCKS SIGNAL THE RIGHT PLACE A WRONG TURN THEYLL PUMP THE BREAKS ONE F(OR?) ONE AIM WELL BREAK THE GLASS A GREAT REWARD AWAITS YOUR ASS”
From this, the info can be drawn that agricultural trucks point to the right place, that you need to aim well, that you have to break glass, and that a great reward awaits you.
The correct location has now been found and the correct mechanism triggered there.
What you need to do: Go to this area on the map, located southeast of the White House (and west of the Castle Settlement):
There is a truck. Climb onto it and look at the building with many windows.
Now you need to shoot some windows in the correct order. In this image, you can see the correct order:
If you miss a shot, you need to log out and try again.
If you hit the 16 windows in the correct order, a Hunter will appear on your right side. Kill him, and he will drop the 7th Ivory Key.
That’s it! This mechanism should work day and night. Many agents are already reporting in the comments that it works for them too.
Information about the Ivory Keys
What you need to know: The Ivory Key chest in the White House requires a total of 8 Ivory Keys to be opened.
You can obtain these from the Hunters – particularly intelligent and wicked enemies. So far, however, only 6 keys have been obtained from the Hunters, the 7th has now been discovered. The 8th is still missing.
However, until recently, the chest could still be opened if you played in friends’ instances, allowing you to loot the Ivory Keys again and collect all 8 keys. Massive has patched this method, and it is no longer possible.
Therefore, it is known that the chest contains this loot:
- the “Shield Splinterer F2000” assault rifle with random talents and scaling gear score depending on the world tier
- a matching white weapon skin
- and the notorious Hunter axe as a pendant for your backpack
What about the last puzzle? The puzzle for the 8th and last Ivory Key is still being investigated. You can find the secret writing at the Washington Monument. It states: “SCAN THREE LOST SOULS FIND THE TIME TO PAY RESPECTS SOULS HONORED AFTER DARK RETURN TO FIRST MONUMENT AND RELEASE ANOTHER”
