Many fans of loot shooters are currently enjoying The First Descendant. However, they lack a simple feature that players say would add longevity to the title. To the delight of the community, this feature is now being added to the game as a hotfix.
What do the fans want? In a Reddit thread, the user GW2Quinn comments on a feature he believes is essential for The First Descendant to stay alive for a long time. He feels that matchmaking for dungeons in hard mode is necessary.
He argues primarily with the core idea that most players would prefer to play content at the push of a button rather than having to find a group on Discord first. Although matchmaking can sometimes lead to frustration, the relatively low difficulty of dungeons, according to his own experience, would mitigate such a problem.

The community has reason to be happy. Fortunately, players didn’t have to wait long, as announced by the official game account on X, a hotfix is being prepared to add matchmaking for the Public Infiltration Operation (dungeons) in hard mode.
An exact date is not mentioned in the tweet yet. However, most commenters appear to be excited and praise the developers for quickly bringing a change that many parts of the community have requested.
