Players of Genshin Impact want different rewards after over a year of successfully completing events or quests. Especially at higher levels, the gifts are anything but appropriate. MeinMMO shows you the demands of the community.
Since the release of Genshin Impact, there have been several major events for each patch aimed at motivating players to log in and play regularly.
Such events always include rewards that should provide additional motivation for the fans. While some events are kept smaller and therefore yield lesser gifts, there are also larger events that should offer corresponding rewards.
In the past, Genshin Impact has managed to make players happy with their event gifts, such as in “Lost Treasures,” which offered a pet for graduates.
However, the majority of the rewards always look the same, according to the community:
- Mora
- Low Epicenter
- Weapon ores
- Low (and small) XP cards
This is too little for advanced players, and they wish for completely different items as gifts.

Reddit user Lavenne created a thread due to the insufficient rewards, expressing his dissatisfaction (via reddit). He wrote that while Mora, XP books, and weapon ores are sweet, they could also include resin as a gift.
For smaller events, there could be 2 resin moons, and larger events could gift players 4 resin moons.
Lavenne’s reddit thread collected over 8,000 upvotes and 600 comments in a short time, which had even more suggestions:
I agree with you and would even go further to say that they should sprinkle wanderlust banner pulls and prototype boxes in between as rewards.

This particular response reached many people and received agreement. People believe that Genshin Impact hardly distributes pulls for the wanderlust banner. Moreover, they think it’s appropriate if, in addition to “useless” 3-star weapons, the banner also contains other goodies like Mora, resin, or other basic resources.
Other players demand XP potions for artifacts that have already been given as gifts in some events. Reddit user Ghost_82x considers this a great idea:
Progress, in my experience, comes to a sudden halt once you reach adventure rank 55. The predominant reasons for this are: resin, Mora, hardly any talent books, and few elemental crystals for leveling up characters. Everything somehow feeds into each other. I will probably be done with the game as soon as I can complete floor 12-3 in the twisted abyss.

The community also agrees with this objection and supports Ghost’s statement. Once you want to level up a character’s talent, you simultaneously use materials for 4-5 other characters. The drops and rewards from events cannot compensate for the current consumption of resources.
Some fans argue that daily quests could give more resin and at least as much epicenter so that you could do at least one pull on a gacha banner.
Reddit user Odiril goes so far as to call Genshin Impact the strangest gacha game he has ever played. Other gacha games would grant a free pull daily on their banners. Additionally, promoted rare characters in other games of this type migrate into the standard banner. There, you can pull heroes with a low probability at any time (via reddit).
Many more comments under the thread demand more resin, resources, and other important goodies that a player at a higher level rarely receives as event rewards.
