In Call of Duty: Warzone , there has been a lot of criticism of Krampus, the monster from the 2021 Christmas event, in recent days. The villain took down “naughty players” and they did not find that very festive.

How did players find Krampus? Not cool at all. For days, there have been complaints against Krampus. Players urged developer Raven to remove the creature directly from the game.
- It was said that Krampus was “incredibly stupid” – the game was essentially over once Krampus was chasing someone.
- One player wrote that the “fucking thing” had chased his team in 4 different games within an hour. It had just so many hit points and was such a “goddamn monster” that the game was over as soon as it chased you (via reddit).
This is how CoD Warzone responds: They have actually intervened. Krampus is receiving 2 nerfs:
- His hit points have been significantly reduced – this applies to all modes and squad sizes
- Additionally, Krampus will no longer appear at the end of a match when the 4th circle has appeared
It seems there might still be a Merry Christmas in CoD Warzone. Although there are currently some issues in the game, especially with technical difficulties on consoles.
