The community of Battlefield 6 is proud of the developers for a change, but must admit that the CoD players were helpful during the beta.
What is this change? EA has responded to the community feedback after the end of the Battlefield 6 beta and announced some changes. The most important change concerns the movement. This will be slightly toned down as a result of the beta. The developers write:
“The movement has been adjusted to create a more balanced and traditional Battlefield experience. The momentum, especially the horizontal speed that is transferred from a slide to a jump, has been reduced. “
This change means that while you can still slide and the sprint speed remains unchanged, the switching and rapid, consecutive use of the various movement mechanics is now somewhat weaker.
Additionally, there is now a higher penalty for consecutive jumps. If you jump too much, the jump height decreases. Furthermore, you now shoot less accurately while jumping or sliding than in the beta.

What do the streamers have to do with the changes? The changes to the movement are very well received on social media. There are several posts on Reddit alone about the topic that have around 20,000 upvotes and over 2,000 comments each.
Part of the community admits that they owe it to Twitch streamers of Call of Duty that these changes were made before release. They thoroughly tested the movement during the beta and demonstrated what is possible, what is not, and what the community of the game wants and does not want.
A comment on Reddit with over 1,400 upvotes states: “God bless all the great ‘Call of Duty’ streamers who showed this crap during the beta, because that actually made Dice see and fix the problem, lol.” Another Reddit user notes: “I am so glad that clips like these go viral so that Dice can fix issues faster.”
What else does the community say about the change? Overall, the community is very pleased with the announcement. Many praise Dice for listening to the Battlefield players and not pandering to the CoD streamers.
