The protagonist from Arknights: Endfield is not a “Talker” as it’s often referred to in the game. When expressing oneself, it is only through the selection of a text response or a smile. Speaking scenes are rare and occur only at selected special moments.
A modder has now removed the protagonist’s mask and revealed what is underneath.

A face that speaks volumes
What is this secret? By removing the mask, the modder has revealed that the main character has a strong facial expression under the mask. In a shown video on Reddit, he reacts extremely expressively while wearing the mask.

Why does the character wear a mask? Those who have skipped the story of Arknights: Endfield might wonder why the main character wears a mask all the time. This is because the protagonist lay in a coma in a machine for 10 years after an event.
