In SW:TOR, players have come together to honor the actor of Darth Vader. Several events, all organized by users, have attracted many players.
Who is it about? James Earl Jones was an American actor and voice actor, who is especially known to English-speaking audiences of the “Star Wars” films for his role as the voice of Darth Vader.
According to his management, the actor has passed away at the age of 93 in his home in Dutchess County, New York (via Gamestar).
For Star Wars fans, he has long achieved cult and legend status as the voice of Darth Vader. In the MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic, players recently gathered to honor him.

Player Memorial for Players
What was this memorial like? Star Wars fans called for a memorial for James Earl Jones in their own MMORPG, Star Wars: The Old Republic. On the planet Tatooine, fans of the voice actor of Darth Vader gathered on Tuesday evening to commemorate him in a ceremony. The event took place on the American server Star Forge.
Players met at the designated location, lined up, and knelt in honor. The initials JEJ were also formed by the players, as can be seen on Reddit.
The action was planned solely by the players without help from the developers and was reportedly well-attended. On Reddit, it is stated that the server had 6 instances, as many as this planet has probably never had. In SW:TOR, a new instance opens up as soon as too many players are at one location. Therefore, it is unfortunately not possible to see all players at one place at the same time.
Are there more events planned? Yes, players on the American server Star Forge are planning another memorial on the planet Yavin IV. However, this will take place at 02:00 AM German time on the night from Saturday to Sunday.
For everyone who still wants to participate, you will find the ceremony on Yavin IV at the communal camp where the quest givers for the daily missions are located. So the place you go to when leaving your fortress on Yavin IV.
The memorial in honor of James Earl Jones was not the first of its kind. The players of Star Wars: The Old Republic regularly come together to honor deceased actors. Recently, players also honored the actor of Darth Vader who embodied him under the armor but never lent his face: This is how SWTOR players honor the late actor of Darth Vader
