Hackers spawn wild skeletons that attack players in Red Dead Redemption 2 Online. They are creepy with their two heads and drive PC players to their last nerve. In the video, you can see the creatures.
What are these skeletons? The online mode of Red Dead Redemption 2 is known for PvP battles among players. They take on the roles of bounty hunters and hunt down other individuals who have racked up a hefty bounty.
So far, so normal. But one is surprised when creatures attack that one didn’t even consider as competition in the Wild West.
As Reddit user Keisenberg_ writes: “I was attacked by something I never expected” and shares a video. At first, you can see his character walking around Rhodes when suddenly a two-headed skeleton appears behind him, approaches from behind, and then knocks his hat off.
Then there is an exchange of blows, left-right combinations are brushed into the face of the online cowboy by the skeleton. As Keisenberg_ fights back and throws punches, he gets a double headbutt to the face.
Only when the cowboy draws his gun does the skeleton take its bony legs in hand and seek the distance. Even an innocent NPC falls victim while being in the line of fire. But this sacrifice was in vain: the skeleton mutation escapes.
Players suspect hackers behind strange incident
Where do they come from? The user’s problem Keisenberg_ occurred in the PC version of Red Dead Online. Accordingly, it is suspected that hackers spawned these skeletons in the world.
Players write:
- “That would scare me to death”
- “Finally, a hacker with a sense of humor”
The most upvoted comment is: “A good hacker decides that when Rockstar doesn’t make an Undead Nightmare, he takes it into his own hands.” Because players are waiting for an Undead Nightmare DLC for RDR 2.
Another player claims to have found the two-headed skeleton in an online session on PS4 as well. However, this could not yet be properly confirmed because the video does not really show the uploader’s game version.
Others write on Reddit that this was really just a harmless attack by a hacker. They can get much worse. When hackers are after you in RDO with teleportations, God mode, and loud explosions.
But modders don’t always have to be annoying. Some modifications to the game mode are really cool:
