Even after the first patch, the problem persists. The developers have been putting in extra hours, but they haven’t been able to fully eliminate the bug. However, the team has a tip on what to do if you encounter the bug.
What kind of bug is it? The error is every player’s nightmare in a loot shooter: it is an “Inventory Wipe Bug.” This bug takes away all collected items from a player in Outriders.
Players log in to Outriders as usual, then see their naked character on the login screen, but cannot log that character in anymore.

The frustration among affected players is high. They announce that they will delete Outriders. Because what are they supposed to do now? Without items, they can’t farm new ones, if they are even allowed to log back into the game.
The bitter thing about the bug is: it hits hardest those who particularly enjoy Outriders.
