After the update in Fortnite players are looking for map changes or even a new city. A changed location can be found at the old football field.
Why is a new city expected? In Season X of Fortnite, the developers are repeatedly bringing back “old” places. The locations are from past seasons and are being incorporated into the map in slightly altered form.
In Season X, this happened through updates at regular intervals. The so-called Rift Zones appeared in recent weeks at Retail Row and as Tilted Town. Now players are expecting that another new city will be revamped after the update on August 20.
What has changed on the map? Anyone who looks closely at the Fortnite map now will notice changes near Tilted Town. Where there was once a covered football field, there is now a devastated area. It seems Epic has removed the playground with rough means.

As you can see, there is hardly anything left of the football field at grid square C5. It looks as if the location has simply been ripped out of the ground, leaving behind a few objects carelessly. So it is not a new city, but rather the absence of a location. Epic explained that there was an explosion at the site.
What can be seen there? You can recognize the remnants of a goal. Here and there, some junk lies around, and pipes are sticking out of the ground. The football is floating above the field.
You will find unstable consumables
What’s new? With the latest update for Patch 10.10, Epic Games introduced unstable consumables. You can now find these at the former football field.
Every few seconds, these items change their appearance and therefore their bonus before being collected.
Further map changes in Patch 10.10?
Change at Paradise Palms: A small change can be observed in the desert biome. In front of Paradise Palms, the sign “Now Entering Paradise” changed to start of Season X. It now looks green and slimy, instead of looking like a paradise with palm trees.
It is assumed that this area will change soon. According to data miners, Paradise Palms will connect with the former location Moisty Mire and will then become Moisty Palms.
