In Diablo Immortal, you slay hundreds of monsters even before the second act and thousands join before the endgame. After that, the hunt really begins, and with the help of killstreaks, you can earn massive experience points. A player squad has now discovered the maximum killstreak.
What is the maximum killstreak in Diablo Immortal? Once you have killed a good dozen enemies in a row, you enter a killstreak. To maintain the streak, you must keep hitting monsters.
If you cause no damage to enemies for a few seconds, the streak ends, and you receive experience points as a reward.
A squad has now figured out how high the maximum killstreak in Diablo Immortal can be: 9,999 kills. We embed the image from reddit here:
How did the squad achieve this? The thread creator “TailZz85” also answered questions from users and explained how they proceeded.
They used the current best farming spot in Diablo Immortal on Mount Zavain. They ran the farming spot counterclockwise and precisely adjusted to the spawn times of the monsters in this area.
TailZz85 stayed close to the squad as a demon hunter and attacked everything that freshly respawned with a primary attack.
The rest of the squad quickly dealt with the leftovers and cleared the spawn points for the next round. It was a synchronized dance with the spawns in the area, and in the end, the counter stood at 9,999 – but it couldn’t go any higher. We recently reported on a streak with over 7,000 kills.

What rewards were there? Killstreaks bring you massive experience points, and the longer the streak lasts, the more you earn. However, the super-long mega-streaks do not provide infinite multipliers and 5 Paragon levels.
In fact, the streak bonus caps at 100. Once you have taken down 100 monsters in the streak, you will have the same XP multiplier as TailZz85 and his squad with 9,999.
The streak granted the squad 565,000 extra XP with a Paragon penalty of 50%. Since TailZz85 is a good bit above the Paragon level of his server, you only get half of the usual experience points.
In the thread on reddit, someone comments: “Be thankful that there is a limit.” Otherwise, some squads would surely soon aim for entirely different numbers.
The focus of the squad’s streak strategy around TailZz85 was the primary attack of the demon hunter.
