In connection with the Safari Zone in Taiwan, trainers can now find Shiny Pinsir in the wild in Pokémon GO.
The Safari Zone in the city of Tainan, Taiwan has started. Players can catch Shiny Pinsir among other Pokémon. You can read here which bonuses this Safari Zone also includes.
We show you the first images from Tainan and tell you whether the shiny Pinsir can also be caught here in Germany.
Safari Zone in Tainan Metropolitan Park
Today, on November 1, the Safari Zone started in the Tainan Metropolitan Park around the Chimei Museum. Trainers all over the world hope that shiny Pinsir will also appear in the rest of the world.
So far no confirmation: The only confirmations of Shiny Pinsir so far have come from Tainan itself. It is currently unknown whether the shiny form of the bug Pokémon exists in the rest of the world and therefore in Germany.
A screenshot of a catch of Shiny Pinsir outside of Tainan is unfortunately not known so far (as of November 1, 16:50).
Pinsir is rare: Pinsir is a rare Pokémon outside of nests. This could also be a reason why no Shiny Pinsir have been found outside of Taiwan so far.
Trainers hope for the weekend: Players outside of Taiwan are hoping that after the weekend, when the Halloween event is over, Pinsir will appear more frequently. This was already handled similarly with Wingull .
This Pokémon spawned more frequently during the Safari Zones and was also obtainable as a shiny version. On the weekend after the start of the Safari Zone, trainers then encountered Wingull more abundantly all over the world.
Feeling like a short trip? If you still have some vacation left and absolutely want to be in Tainan, you have until November 5. The Safari Zone there runs until then.
Kindwurm, Icognito, and Co.: If you made it to Tainan, you can enjoy plenty of Lures in the park and spawns like Kindwurm, Relicanth, or Icognito. Additionally, the shiny rate in the Safari Zone is increased.
