LEGO Fortnite is well received by fans. However, the rumor that the mode would only be available for a short time keeps surfacing in the community. Now the developer has spoken out.
What is this rumor? Fortnite is known for its interesting game modes. While the Battle Royale mode made the game a hit, there have been countless new game modes since then. Fortnite now even offers its players the ability to create their own game modes and play them online with friends.
Many of the official Fortnite game modes are only available for a limited time – they are called “Limited Time Modes (LTM)” in Fortnite. In the past, there has been, for example, a 50 vs. 50 mode or a mode that gave you a worse weapon with each elimination. These modes were only available for a certain period, and now there is a rumor that this also applies to the new modes, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival.

Fans want LEGO Fortnite to stay and developers respond
Why do fans want LEGO Fortnite to stay? LEGO Fortnite is really popular among players. More than 2.4 million players have played the mode at the same time. That is more than in other modes like “Battle Royale” and “Zero Build” and their respective “Ranked” versions combined.
The mode is particularly popular because you don’t fight like in all the other available modes. Instead, you work with up to seven other players in a Minecraft-like setting. This seems to be well received by the fans, as there have been so many questions about whether the mode is only temporary that the developers have now responded.
Will LEGO Fortnite stay forever? On Twitter, the developers commented on the fans’ wishes. LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival are not time-limited modes. All 3 game modes will remain in the game. It gets even better for fans of LEGO Fortnite and co., as the modes are expected to receive regular updates and will run as entirely new games in Fortnite. So, new content is ensured.
Fans on Twitter are excited about the developers’ promises, but they also want other, time-limited modes back. Especially the mode “Fortnite Impostors – Trust Nobody” is getting a lot of likes. This mode was a tribute to the hit game “Among Us”.
