In Borderlands 3 there is a lot to collect. Money is also one of the items that players can hoard in large quantities. There is now a trick at Moxxi that makes earning money easier.
Here you can find Moxxi: Moxxi can be found in Borderlands 3 aboard your ship – the Sanctuary. There, Mad Moxxi has opened a branch of her well-known bar and is happy about tips that can earn you decent rewards.
In the bar, you will also find the occasional slot machine. And these little machines are currently capable of providing you with a lot of cash.
Glitch makes earning money extremely easy
This is what the glitch does: Currently, there seems to be a reliable method for players to increase their chances of getting money from the machine, when the story is completed.
Effectively, players locate one of the slot machines that pays out money. Once this is done, a fast travel to any map is followed by an immediate return to the Sanctuary. Upon returning to the machine, one finds that the machine can suddenly spit out ten times the amount of money.
Legendary loot is also up for grabs: Now the vault hunters simply play until they can cash in the money. This can be repeated and, while it costs some money, the overall wins noticeably exceed the losses. Some players report making several million in a very short time.
The machines also spit out legendary weapons or even Eridium, if you are lucky. While the numbers cannot be pushed high, the machines can be easily relieved of their legendary loot.
The glitch therefore represents a very easy way to farm legendary weapons and money. It is quite unlikely that this is intended by Gearbox, and it is likely to be fixed in a future patch. Undertaking this process is at your own risk – those who exploit glitches may be banned.
