Light Bowgun at the Top
The title for the best weapon in Monster Hunter World goes to the light bowgun, with dual blades in second place and the energy blade in third. Together with the great sword, these three weapons have received the SS rank from the community.
The light bowgun has earned its place thanks to its rapid-fire and high mobility. This distinguishes it from the heavy bowgun, which, although it can deal high damage with bombs, only landed in sixth place.
The light bowgun is preferred by players both in solo play and in groups, even though it can also harm its own team with friendly fire.
The sword and shield performed the worst in the vote. Players gave this weapon the lowest rank of C in both single-player and multiplayer modes.
Just behind it was the hunting horn, which received rank B in multiplayer mode, just barely surpassing sword and shield with only a few votes.
