BioWare recently provided further details from Patch 1.03 for Anthem. Players had accused the developers of wanting to hide negative patch notes.
What about the patch notes? BioWare released Patch 1.03 and provided patch notes for it last Saturday. The update was initially scheduled for today, March 12, but was moved up due to numerous player issues.
However, after the patch, players pointed out details that seemed to have changed but were not noted in the patch notes. Some even accused the developers of wanting to hide negative changes from players.
What was added? Community Manager Jesse Anderson has now updated some details in the Anthem subreddit and confirmed suspected bugs. Anderson also addressed two points that the community complained about:
- After the patch, fewer high-end ember resources drop. This is a bug that is supposed to be fixed today, March 12, with a hotfix.
- Changes to the path to glory, which are intended. The developers adjusted the parameters for daily, weekly, and monthly challenges so that players can complete tasks in February.
What bugs are there? The community manager also confirmed some bugs related to equipment and components that players have already discussed. These changes were not intended and are supposed to be reverted with an upcoming patch.

BioWare continues to urge the community to report changes or potential bugs. Some players report that they are receiving legendary items intended for a different javelin than the one they are currently playing.
However, there was no news on the loot debate. Anderson stated that the team is continuing to discuss changes and is looking at player feedback. There will be an update on loot only when more information is available.
