In Destiny 2, a player takes the nickname of a weapon literally and interprets Jötunn as a toaster, much to the delight of the Guardians.
What are Destiny players joking about? The exotic fusion rifle Jötunn is considered one of the most hated weapons in Destiny 2 overall. After all, it fires homing fireballs that can knock a player out instantly.
However, due to its appearance and the fiery charging animation, the weapon has earned a rather harmless nickname: The Toaster. A player thought, “Why should only Guardians of Jötunn get roasted?” and took the joke literally.

Who made this? The cool concept comes from Michael Ault, who shares many more of his animations and graphics under the name Delta on Twitter. Many of them revolve around the world of Destiny. He is particularly fascinated by the impressive weapons, which are often the protagonists of his work.

The community desperately needs the toaster
How players are reacting: Users agree and celebrate the idea. Currently, the post has over 500 retweets, nearly 2000 likes, and reached 36,000 viewers. In the comments, Delta also receives a lot of praise. Most commonly, one reads statements expressing how much they need this item in their lives.
There is also a popular request for Bungie to officially sell such a toaster. User ItzMeme2134 (via Twitter) even posits the theory: “Bungie could completely stop the Eververse if they turned this device into a real product.” – Because everyone would want to buy the Jötunn toaster.
