In GTA Online players have a selection of different aircraft hangars that can cost quite a bit of GTA dollars. One player has made such an investment and was greeted by security personnel in an… explosive manner.
What happened? Numerous GTA Online users are having a laugh on reddit (via reddit.com) over the incident that occurred at the Fort Zancudo airstrip.
User Ronnymalony treated himself to the most expensive hangar A2, which costs 3,250,000 GTA dollars. In a clip, you can see the player starting one of his jets and actually wanting to take off.
But the security personnel at Fort Zancudo apparently had a problem with that and suddenly launched an “attack” on Ronnymalony.

Fort Zancudo security takes their job a bit too seriously
This can be seen in the video: As soon as Ronnymalony leaves the hangar in his jet, a Humvee from the security crashes into his aircraft. Before the player can react further, a second and finally a third vehicle follows, which simply plows into the jet at full speed.
The third vehicle was ultimately too much, and eventually, everyone involved exploded in a big bang. Whatever the personnel had in mind, it did not end well.
What do other players think about this? Many find the clip simply hilarious. The victim of the security personnel himself sarcastically comments in the headline: “Get a base hangar, they said, it will be fun.”
Apart from the amusement, there is also a discussion about which hangar is best to buy. Many consider Fort Zancudo not a good choice. Compared to the Los Santos International Airport (LSIA), the Fort is too remote, and the hangars are significantly more expensive than at the LSIA.
However, there are fewer griefers at the Fort. Ultimately, it probably just comes down to what priorities you set. Ronnymalony bought the hangar because of access to the base and because he prefers the surroundings around the Fort.
The incident doesn’t seem to bother him much; he simply writes, “I took them with [to death].”
Such incidents may be quite rare, but you should keep in mind when buying a hangar that military security forces will constantly be on the move at the Fort. So be prepared for possible collisions.
Hangars and their advantages
This is what buying a hangar brings you: When you buy a hangar as a CEO in GTA Online, you unlock additional mission types. While these are not the best ways to quickly make money in GTA Online 2021, they at least bring some variety.
So if you enjoy soaring through the skies and want to make money while doing so, you should get a hangar. However, keep in mind: It will cost you a significant amount of money initially.
